Adaptive

Adaptive training allows users to take an exam at the beginning of the course to asses their current knowledge and then only provides content tailored to the areas that require additional training.

Admin

Individuals that manage iLMS and/or Phishproof Simulation Tool.

FTP

FTP is an acronym for File Transfer Protocol. As the name suggests, FTP is used to transfer files between computers on a network.

LDAP

Lightweight Directory Access Protocol. As the name suggests, it is a lightweight client-server protocol for accessing directory services, specifically X.500-based directory services. LDAP runs over TCP/IP or other connection oriented transfer services. Active Directory(AD) is a directory services database, and LDAP is one of the protocols iLMS can use to talk to it.

Learner

End user that logs in to take training or receives education in the form a phishing simulation.

Learning Path

A learning path is a sequence of courses that allows a learner to master a topic in small steps.

S

SAML

Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is a standard protocol for web browser Single Sign-On (SSO) using secure tokens. SAML completely eliminates all passwords and instead uses standard cryptography and digital signatures to pass a secure sign-in token from an identity provider to a SaaS application.

SSO

Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication process that allows a user to access multiple applications with one set of login credentials.

U

Unique Identifier

An identifier that marks that particular record as unique from every other record. Such as an email ID, username, or employee ID.
